A Note About Blooming Lav's Natural Color

At Butters by Lotus, we formulate for sensitive skin first.

Blooming Lav was originally colored using beetroot powder, a natural botanical ingredient. While beautiful at first, beetroot naturally fades over time and does not remain bright pink in skincare products.

 Rather than using synthetic dyes or mica pigments solely for appearance, we've chosen to stay true to our ingredient philosophy.

Future batches of Blooming Lav will feature French Pink Clay, a gentle mineral-rich clay known for its skin-softening properties and suitability for sensitive skin.

The color may vary slightly from batch to batch, but the nourishing ingredients and skin benefits you love remain exactly the same.
